There are many types of dryers we sell, and rotary dryers are one of them. There are seven models of rotary dryers we currently sell. Each model has been well received by users. Below I will introduce the working principle of the machine.

Rotary dryer equipment

The rotary dryer equipment is mainly composed of a heat supply source, a loading machine, a feeder, a rotary drum, a discharge machine, an induced draft fan, a discharger, and a power distribution cabinet; after the dehydrated wet material is input from one end of the dryer, Under the flipping of the inner tube uniformly distributed, the material is evenly distributed and dispersed in the dryer, and is in full contact with the co-current (countercurrent) hot air, which accelerates the drying heat transfer and mass transfer driving force. In the drying process, under the action of the inclined plate and the hot air flow, the material can be controlled to move to another star-shaped discharge valve of the dryer to discharge the finished product.

The rotary dryer has a large processing capacity, simple operation, good drying effect, and the dried material is in direct contact with the hot air, and is dried by convection heat transfer. According to the flow direction between hot air and material, it is divided into the parallel flow and counter flow. In the concurrent flow, the hot air moves in the same direction as the material, and the hot air at the inlet is in contact with the higher moisture content. Since the material is in the surface vaporization stage, the product temperature still substantially maintains the wet bulb temperature.

Although the temperature of the material on the outlet side of the rotary dryer is increasing, the hot air temperature at this time has decreased, so the temperature rise of the product is not too large. Therefore, the choice of a higher hot air inlet temperature will not affect the quality of the product. This drying of heat sensitive materials includes those which contain materials which are volatile, such as the drying of ammonium salts in the fertilizer industry. However, for the drying of the ammonium salt, the temperature of the material should be lower than 90 ° C to avoid burning.

In addition, for materials with high adhesion, it is also very advantageous to use concurrent drying. In the counterflow mode, the direction of hot air flow is opposite to the direction of material movement. For high-temperature resistant materials, countercurrent drying is used, and the heat utilization rate is high. The air outlet temperature of the dryer should generally be about 10-20 °C above the material outlet temperature in the concurrent mode. In the counterflow type, the air outlet temperature is not clearly defined, but it is reasonable to use 100 °C as the outlet temperature.

Continuous Airflow Drying Machine

The airflow dryer is mainly used to dry wood chips with a size of less than 5mm and reduce the moisture to 8-12% through the airflow pipe. The wood chip can be processed in the next step. The principle is that the hot gas is circulated through the pipe by burning the combustible material through the airflow, which is the raw material and the hot gas fully contact, thereby achieving the effect of the wood chip drying.

The charcoal-making production line is a production line to produce long coal rods, which mainly produces charcoal through the steps of carbonizing raw materials, crushing, forming, and drying. And the appearance of the produced charcoal rods can be customized to realize the diversification of coal production. The charcoal-making production line is currently popular in countries such as Chile, Oman, Vietnam, and Nigeria.
